Wilbert C. was charged with nine counts, including three counts of rape, two counts of burglary, assault, and other related charges. The Assistant United States Attorney presented evidence by a DNA expert. Wilbert C. was acquitted of five counts, the government dismissed the remaining counts. Wilbert C. went home with no convictions.
February, 2008. United States v. William C.
William C. was charged in the District of Columbia with: first degree murder while armed, assault with intent to kill while armed, possession of a firearm during a crime of violence, carrying a pistol without a license, unregistered firearm, and unregistered firearm. After a trial that lasted over a week, deliberations took less than two hours. William C. was acquitted of all charges.
